554 Reject due to sender domain's DMARC policy

Reason

The email failed the required authentication checks (SPF/DKIM) required by DMARC. The domain has been configured to reject unauthenticated messages.

Solution

  • for customers
If it was a legitimate email, but you are not the person responsible for the domain's mail system, please contact your email provider so that they can take measures to ensure that the authenticity checks on your emails are successful again.

  • for administrators
Please ensure that your DKIM and/or SPF setup is working correctly so that the authenticity checks required by DMARC are successful again and further rejections can be ruled out.
If you have specified the rua option for receiving DMARC reports in your DMARC record, please also use the reports sent to you to check your configuration.

  • for mailing lists
If you operate a mailing list, please follow the general recommendations or the specific recommendations of your listserver software provider on how to set up a DMARC-compliant configuration.
